It is a broad spectrum selective systemic herbicide for the control of post-emergence broadleaf weeds in maize, rice and wheat fields and non-cropped areas like lawns. The active ingredient is 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid 2,4-D Amine (2,4-D) which is a synthetic auxin (plant hormone) and one of the most widely used herbicides in the world that works by being absorbed through the leaves and is translocated to the meristems of the plant, where it inhibits growth.It is applied by direct spraying ensuring adequate coverage of plant foliage for effective control. For maize, apply 2-4 days after planting or any time after 2 leaf stage but before maize is 30cm high at the rate of 2L/ha in 150 litres of water ( 267ml/20L of water). For rice apply before booting stage approximately between 4-7 weeks after germination at the rate of 2L/ha in 150 litres of water ( 267ml/20L of water). For wheat apply after 5-6 leaves have developed but before piping stage at the rate of 2.5-3L/ha in 150 litres of water (333-400ml/20L of water). For lawn grass apply any time after grasses are established at the rate of 2L/ha in 150 litres of water ( 267ml/20L of water)
